Departing Belfast travel along the most scenic trails in Ireland, winding your way through the Glens of Antrim where land and water meet up to the 8th wonder of the world the Giants Causeway, then on to Londonderry Northern Irelands second city. The journey to here is said to be one of the beautiful in the world. Still there is more to come travel through County Tyrone on your way back to Belfast where you will spend the final days of your fabulous Ireland vacation


ITINERARY

Day 1

Transfer the short distance to the Ballygalley Castle Hotel for 1 night dinner, bed and breakfast. After getting acquainted with your room and freshened up it's off to Carrickfergus to visit this historic town and Carrickfergus Castle. After dinner you will have time to yourself to explore the flavour of the Northern Ireland hospitality around some of the villages in the area dotted around the hotel.

Day 2

After Breakfast its off along the scenic Antrim Coast, first stop will be to the Glens of Antrim where you can marvel at the sights of this great natural beauty and a short stop in the Irish village of Carnlough for lunch before commencing the most beautiful part of the journey, up and over Torrs Head. After arriving at the Causeway Hotel( where you will stay for 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast ) you will be free to take the walk around the Giants Causeway, and since you are only a very short distance away from the entrance to the Giants Causeway you can go to it as often as you like. Choice of night time entertainment.

Day 3

Today its off to see some of what the Antrim Coast has to offer. Weather permitting you may cross the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede, one of the most beautiful places you are liable to see in your lifetime. A short visit to the seaside town of Ballycastle for lunch before commencing on a tour of the Old Bushmills Distillery, and ending an eventful day with a visit to the awesome Dunluce Castle. Again you will be given the choice of night time entertainment.

Day 4

Its time to leave the scenery of the Antrim Coast behind and start your journey to Londonderry, stopping to visit Portrush and Portstewart, before the 40 minute journey to Limavady where you will stop for lunch. Check into the Everglades Hotel in Derry for a 2 night stay with 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. Within walking distance of Londonderry City Centre you will be escorted to the famous Walls of Derry where you will be given a tour before dinner and the evenings entertainment.

Day 5

Time to explore the historic city of Londonderry and do a bit of shopping. Included today is a visit to the Tower Museum. If you play golf the hotel can arrange special visitors rates with local clubs. Explore Londonderry's Pubs and Clubs in the evening.

Day 6

Begin the 90 minute journey to Belfast travelling through some historic villages on the way and stopping at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. Onward to Belfast, check into the Holiday Inn at Ormeau Avenue in the centre of Belfast for 2 nights Bed and Breakfast. After lunch go on the most detailed and comprehensive guided tour of the famous Belfast Murals offered in Northern Ireland. After this it's back to the hotel to get your evening clothes on before going on the Titanic Boat Tour and an evenings entertainment at The Odyssey.

Day 7

Early start still lots to do. Travel the short distance to Belfast City Hall where you will be given a guided tour of this historic building, then shop till you drop, three hours of shopping and lunch in Belfast's City Centre. Travel the short distance (around 10 - 15 minutes) to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, one of Northern Ireland's premier tourist attractions, before getting back to your hotel to perhaps take in a show or play before the famous Belfast nights entertainment.

Day 8

Transfer to your point of exit.
